**Warranty and your rights**

This product comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law: a replacement or refund for a major failure, and repair or replacement if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not major. Our 12-month express warranty is in addition to those rights.

Faults have a cause, and causes can be established. A manufacturing defect is covered; accidental damage, liquid ingress, unauthorised opening/repair and normal wear are not.

Please report any faults as soon as you notice it and stop using the product until we have assessed it.

**Care note for hinged and clamshell devices**

Hinges on folding devices are a load-bearing part. Open the lid from the centre, not from a corner. Do not force the hinge past its stop, do not carry the device by the top screen, and do not store it in a bag where the lid may be subjected to crush load. Following this reduces the chance of the shell or hinge cracking, and a hinge damaged by force rather than by a manufacturing fault is not covered.
